How Is Your Logic?
It Has Been A Dry Year
|
The water level in a reservoir is low, but doubles every day. It takes 60 days to fill the reservoir. How long does it take for the reservoir to become half full?
|
Used inline with loading spouts for dust control during loading of dry, dusty materials into open or enclosed vehicles, DCL's Compact Filter Module filters dust from a loading spout and discharges particles back into material flow.
Available sizes up to 660 sq. ft. of filter media with up to 5,000 CFM air withdrawal.
Compared to freestanding units, the CFM Filter Module saves space and money by eliminating expensive duct work, discharge air locks and hopper discharge systems.

Dust Free Loading Spouts
For Both Open and Closed Vehicles
|
The handling of dry bulk materials face increasingly stringent regulations, and for good reason. Health and safety risks associated with dust aspiration are greater than originally known. Dust affects not only the workplace and its employees, but nearby neighborhoods, waterways and local ecosystems as well.
|
Dangers of Dust
-
Employee Health - Airborne dust can lead to serious health issues, such as breathing problems, chronic lung diseases, occupational asthma and eye irritation.
-
Employee Safety - Accumulated surface dust creates slip hazards.
-
Fire Hazard - Even small amounts of dust accumulation can result in a dust explosion.
-
Economic Impact - Hefty fines from OSHA violations and even forced shutdowns impact profits and customer satisfaction.
Knowing the dangers of dust, how do you load dry, dusty materials safely and economically while protecting your employees, your company and the environment?

Retractable Dust Free Loading Spouts
|
DCL's retractable loading spouts ensure dust free loading of dry bulk materials from storage bins, silos and conveyors into open (OV) or enclosed (EV) trucks and railcars.
Retracted lengths as low as 19 inches make it an ideal choice for limited space conditions. Vertical travels extend up to 18 feet. Loading rates, dependent on product, can be up to 500 cu ft/min [14.2 m³/min]. Choice of construction materials allows handling of all types of material – fine, granular, lumpy, abrasive and corrosive – and difficult dusty or sanitary applications.
- Shipped assembled and tested
- Easy access to drive components
- Three cable hoist system for maximum spout stability
- Slack cable and drive limits factory set
- Internal stacking product flow control cones constructed from urethane, AR steel or stainless steel
- Wide selection of flexible outer spout sleeve materials for high and low temperature applications provided with heavy duty aluminum stacking type support rings.
- Collar style dust outlet for connection to a free standing dust collector or vent through frame configuration for connection to an inline filter module.
